I am a creative and an entrepreneur.

I make things. Or more accurately, I give birth to things, leaving the making up to a team of specialists whose skills I deeply envy.

The things I bring into this world vary pretty dramatically. It might be a fashion brand, a blog, a website, a film, a webapp, a product, a service or perhaps an installation. I haven’t yet made a hip-hop track or a reality TV show, though I have pitched both.

The link for me between the action of what we do in advertising and the impact on the business is not something to put in a case study film, but money in the bank. Good creative doesn’t win awards, it generates sales.

If I had my own agency it would be called something like ‘Useful and Social’. Or perhaps ‘Socially Useful’. Or maybe even ‘Usefully Social’. These are the only two things in my mind that make brands relevant today.

Trained in visual communications, I have worked my way through various agencies around the world, most recently as Associate Creative Director at R/GA London.
